Our dedicated team at Empowered Self Psychology is committed to supporting each client’s journey towards improved mental health, wellbeing, and personal growth.
Our CEO, Natalie, leads the team with extensive experience in clinical counselling, behaviour support, communication, intimacy, and sex therapy for couples.
Natalie is joined by a skilled and compassionate team of professionals, including Tom, our Psychologist; Hayley, our Social Worker and Circle of Security Facilitator; Ben, our Counsellor and Psychotherapist, who also works in behaviour support; Shannon, our Early Childhood Intervention Support Worker; and Gemma, our Counsellor, who incorporates art into therapy.
Our administrative team provides the essential coordination and support that keeps ESPHC running smoothly each day. Danika, our Health Practice Business Manager, leads practice operations and is supported by James, who assists with administration and group activities.
Gemma also coordinates our on-site and off-site group activities, carefully planning and managing schedules to help clients stay active, engaged, and supported in working towards their goals.
We are also supported by a diverse team of support workers who bring a range of skills, experiences, and cultural perspectives to their work.
Together, our multi-disciplinary team provides compassionate, inclusive, and professional support tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, in our neuro-affirming space.
We provide a comprehensive range of therapeutic services and diagnostic assessments to support individuals across all stages of life, with a focus on mental health, personal development, and overall wellbeing.
Our Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Early Intervention, and Behaviour Support services are designed to meet diverse needs, including developmental milestones, grief and loss, addiction recovery, anxiety management, emotional regulation, and self-esteem building.
We draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Behaviour Management Plans, and parenting support to provide practical, personalised care.
Our services are available to individuals, couples, and families, and may include mediation, parenting guidance, and specialised therapeutic approaches such as art and creative expression to support healing and growth.
Some of our team members have completed additional training in Certified Play Therapy alongside their primary professional qualifications. This additional training supports their therapeutic work with children and families; however, it does not mean they are registered play therapists.
